From Surviving to Thriving: The Journey That Changed the Way I Think About Health
I Thought Feeling "Off" Was Just Part of Life... Until I Learned to Support My Body Differently.
“There comes a moment when you stop asking, ‘How do I feel better today?’ and start asking, ‘How can I truly support my body for the years ahead?’ That question changed everything.”
For years, I searched for answers.
Looking back, I never imagined that journey would completely change not only my own health, but also the purpose of my life.
Like many people, I accepted feeling tired, inflamed, overwhelmed, and disconnected from my body as something I simply had to live with. I thought it was just part of getting older.
Then I began asking a different question:
How can I truly support my body instead of simply managing my symptoms?
The Story Behind My Passion
For nearly three years, I searched for answers.
I explored conventional medicine, holistic therapies, allergy testing, special diets, and countless treatments, but nothing explained why my body felt like it was on fire. Severe eczema, hives, and chronic inflammation affected every part of my life, eventually bringing my Hollywood career to a standstill.
Everything changed when a trusted friend introduced me to the science behind cellular activation. Intrigued, I began reading the research and learning from healthcare professionals who had taken the time to evaluate it.
Not long afterwards, I attended a presentation by Dr Robert Chesne, former Chief of Cardiology at Centinela Hospital. Hearing him explain the science gave me even greater confidence to continue learning. Dr Chesney later became both a mentor and a dear friend, and his passion for educating others continues to inspire me today.
Within weeks, I began noticing positive changes, and for the first time in years, I felt hopeful.
That experience changed the direction of my life.
Today, I don’t share my story to persuade anyone. Choosing a wellness path is deeply personal. My goal is to educate, encourage curiosity, and offer hope. I know what it feels like to be searching for answers, and if my story helps someone ask a new question or explore a new possibility, then sharing it has been worthwhile.
Looking Beyond the Symptoms
That journey opened the door to a completely different way of thinking about health.
Instead of searching for something to cover up symptoms, I became fascinated by a deeper question:
What if the body already knows how to protect and repair itself, and needs the right support?
The more I learned, the more I realised that true wellness isn't about chasing quick fixes.
It's about understanding the incredible systems already working inside our bodies every single day.
Every heartbeat.
Every breath.
Every cell.
Why Cellular Health Matters
One of the things I find most fascinating is that our bodies are constantly working to protect us.
Every second, millions of cells produce energy, repair damage, respond to stress, and help us stay healthy.
Modern life, however, places enormous demands on these natural processes.
Stress.
Poor sleep.
Environmental toxins.
Highly processed foods.
The natural ageing process.
Over time, these factors can increase oxidative stress and place extra demands on the body’s ability to function at its best.
I’ve come to believe that our role isn’t to fight our bodies.
Our role is to support what they were beautifully designed to do

Wellness Is Built One Choice at a Time
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that lasting wellness doesn’t come from one miracle solution.
It comes from the small choices we make every single day.
Choosing nourishing foods
Prioritising quality sleep
Moving our bodies.
Managing stress.
Staying hydrated.
Making time to recover.
Continuing to learn.
Healthy habits will always be my foundation.

There isn’t one path that’s right for everyone.
But there is one thing I’ve seen over and over again.

It grows through education.
Curiosity.
Consistency.
And one healthy choice after another.
A New Beginning

Your body is extraordinary.
It was created with remarkable systems designed to protect, adapt, and renew.
Supporting those systems isn’t about striving for perfection.
It’s about making small, intentional choices each day that help you live with greater vitality for years to come.
My goal has never been to tell people what they should do.
My goal is to educate, encourage curiosity, and share what I’ve learned along the way.
Because when we understand our bodies better, we can make informed choices that support not only how we feel today, but how we live for years to come.
