From Performance to Precision Health
My Journey
Monique Mannen – Cellular Health & Longevity Advocate
I’m Monique Mannen — a Cellular Health & Longevity Advocate specializing in oxidative stress regulation and inflammation balance.
Before stepping into the world of cellular health, I built a career in entertainment as a professional dancer, actress, and producer. I appeared in film, television, music videos, and national campaigns — including dancing alongside Prince in his iconic “Kiss” video and becoming the first woman of color featured in a national Nexxus Hair Care campaign.
I was mentored by respected industry leaders including acclaimed director Bill Duke and Emmy-winning producer Michael Ajakwe Jr. Those experiences shaped my discipline, preparation, and commitment to excellence — qualities that now define my work in health advocacy.
From the outside, my life looked vibrant.
Behind the scenes, my body was breaking down.
When Success Isn’t Enough
Despite an active lifestyle, I developed severe eczema, joint inflammation, and chronic fatigue. For nearly three years, I searched for answers. I was prescribed creams and medications and told it was “just aging.”
It wasn’t.
The turning point came when I was introduced to the science of cellular activation by Dr. Chesney, Chief of Cardiology at Centinela Hospital. What captured my attention wasn’t marketing — it was mechanism.
For the first time, I understood oxidative stress, inflammatory signaling, and how gene expression pathways influence the body’s antioxidant systems.
Within weeks of supporting those pathways, my symptoms began to shift.
It wasn’t magic.
It was physiology.
What I Advocate Today
Today, as a Cellular Health & Longevity Advocate, I focus on:
Oxidative stress regulation
NRF2 pathway activation
Inflammation balance
Evidence-based nutrigenomics
Foundational longevity strategies
This work begins at the cellular level and extends to interconnected systems — including metabolic health and the microbiome — recognizing that inflammation, oxidative stress, and gut resilience are deeply linked.
I do not replace medical care.
I advocate for understanding how the body’s protective systems function — and how supporting them can influence resilience over time.
My work bridges science and simplicity, helping women understand what is happening beneath the surface and how to support it responsibly.
Why This Matters
Many symptoms people accept as “normal aging” are often associated with oxidative stress and chronic low-grade inflammation.
When we support the cell, we support the system.
And when women reclaim their health, families and communities feel the ripple effect.
My Commitment
The same discipline that guided my career in entertainment now guides my work in health:
Integrity over hype
Mechanism over marketing
Education over fear
Long-term vitality over quick fixes
I believe health should feel empowering, not overwhelming
